In the Reason its humanity based.

meaning an outside force, the Communist Chinese for example, wants to snuff out or change our fundamental ability to live or how we live as an American.

The secessionist socialist conglomerates are the inside force actively trying to do the same as the outside force because they don’t think a free trade society and a republic is the way to go.

They should’ve packed their bags and went somewhere like Venezuela or Cuba, and taken their ilk with them.

We Americans believe that we have God given unalienable rights that should not be infringed upon because when they are that means someone is trying to control you, your way of life. Usually pressing upon you, THEIR way of life.

Most Americans just want to be left alone to live their lives as free people and allow their neighbors to do the same. To do as they please. As long as their actions don’t infringe upon the next person’s rights.

Communism, Socialism, most of the isms want to control you, your thoughts, your spending, your work, your movement, your fill in the blank.

I’ve admitted in the past and still will admit that ON PAPER on a SMALL SCALE Communism and Socialism can be ideal and work well.

Communism – commune living and bartering = surviving a natural disaster or a manmade one.

Socialism – family unit example. Small scale. Mom and dad, the government, has all the resources and gives out what they think each member needs or deserves. The control the money, transportation, food and water.

These seem to only work on a small scale. On a larger scale like a country, it usually goes to hell because of humans getting involved. It doesn’t matter who it is. The ego starts dictating what they want and desire instead of thinking rational. If those people ever thought rationally in the first place.

Humans can be selfish, greedy and power hungry. Especially when placed in a position of power. Even something as simple as promoting a worker to a supervisor position, to often they let that itty bitty amount of power go to their head. Instead of looking out for the people below them they look for ways to build themselves up by abusing their power. Intentional? Subconscious? I don’t know. I agree with the old adage though of Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely!

This is why you resist.

There are times to resist and times to not. You have to understand where you yourself draw the line and what hill are you going to die on. Which hill is worth the fight and your life.

The supervisor example above wouldn’t necessarily be a hill to die on unless it’s bad. If they were maniacal and crushing people with there position and you felt led to do something about it, then yes I would resist but if it doesn’t seem worth it? Find another job.

But when another group is pressing their beliefs on you, threatening some type of harm on you be it physical, economic if you don’t bend to their ways, resist.

This is the resistance presented in the Reason series. An outside and an inside force pressing their governmental belief system on half of the population of the United States. While the other half welcomed the outside hostile force inside our borders, unchallenged

Anyone who tries to force you to do anything that goes against a fundamental right, should be resisted.

I’m not talking about resisting the ticket you received because you were clearly driving faster than the speed limit.

But in America if someone, or some organization or administration tries to infringe or curtail your 1st or 2nd amendment rights, whichever one they choose . They need to be resisted. There’s nothing wrong with the constitution of the united States. What’s wrong is the people in congress who want to change it instead of protecting and upholding it like they took an oath to.

Resist. Period.

In our books, Bret and his friends, family and compatriots resist multiple factions. Some want to rule over them, others just want them dead, like the militant Jihadis. They see us as misguided heathens and we need to be assimilated or killed if we don’t profess allegiance to Allah and his prophet.

Marauders. Groups of thugs. These aren’t necessarily ex-military, or police, a lot of the time they’re civilians that are down and out, bored and have nothing to do, that follow a bully. They’re hungry and maybe this over leader promises them something. These people use their numbers and brutality to lord over people and take what they want. They normally don’t have much if any training at all. These are Americans feeding off of fellow Americans. It’s plain sick. We should be lifting each other up but.

The PLA/CCP/Communist Chinese. This one is self explanatory. These are one of the many invaders who took advantage of a weakened, separated America to attack. Smart to do so now but still a bad decision as the other half of the U.S. will fight till the end before living on their knees in a reeducation camp.

This goes for the U.N., Russian, Canada, Mexico and even the Cartels. These groups have all taken advantage of our current situation. Like sharks they are when blood’s in the water.

Looters, and gang bangers can be an issue as well for peoples’ safety especially in the cities. Not so much in the countryside. You’ll just get blown away if you try something that stupid.

Then you may have some militant religious cult with their brain washed members causing havoc when it’s not needed or asked for. They usually feel that they are called by Lord to do his bidding.

These groups are abundant in our world, and you must resist when it makes sense and choose what hill to die on so to speak. In this new world of a splintered and burning America you could literally die on your hill if you choose poorly. But resist you must, or there may not be an America to live in if we don’t.

Resist for your friends, your family, and all your fellow Americans that’re trapped in the conglomerate states or can’t fight for themselves.

Be their shield.
