Kind of a Surreal Moment

So here I sit wondering which direction to go next. Ever been there?

I’ve published the first book in a dystopian fall of America series, and the plan is for ten to twelve books in total.

Book Two, Tribulations, is currently back in the hands of my wonderful editor for another pass. If all goes well, I’m hoping for a release within the next two to four weeks.

I’m excited about this one. There’s a lot packed into it. The world of The Reason really starts to open up—new characters, new situations, and moments that may feel like a punch to the gut for some readers.

Which brings me to the dilemma.

What should I be working on right now?

The website still needs some attention. There are sections I want to finish—Moving Pictures, character bios, and I’m thinking about adding a gallery of still images from the Reason-verse to help showcase the scale of the world I’m building.

Or maybe I should focus more on social media content. Reels have actually been fun to make.

Then there’s Book Three — Revelations.

That one is already written. It just needs another serious pass before going to the editor. My goal is to have it out within three to four months… sooner if possible.

So maybe that’s the answer.

Jump back into Revelations and get as much done as possible while Tribulations is with the editor.

Funny how appropriate that title feels right now.
